As part of the fundraising package for An Cridhe, Coll’s new community centre, the islanders of Coll have set the target of raising £200,000 through community events.

Please help us by getting sponsorship for the event in which you are taking part.  Every £50--£100--£300 counts.  One ambitious walker has set herself the target of raising £2000...would anyone like to try and beat that?

Funds for An Cridhe are being raised under the umbrella group, Development Coll, a community company with charitable status limited by guarantee.

In order to facilitate fundraising, Development Coll has teamed up with Justgiving, a web-based company which enables people to donate or raise money on line.

• The Justgiving service is quick, easy and 100% secure for you to use.  It is tax efficient for us (when you choose to gift aid a donation), and it reduces our admin.

• Creating your own page for on line sponsorship will only take 5-10 minutes.  Follow these simple guidelines to make the task easy!

• Once you click on the raise money button, you will be directed to the Development Coll “raise money” page.

• Choose the “create your page” button at the bottom.

• You are asked to select from a list of Development Coll events.

• You will then be taken through a few short steps to set up an account.

• Hint for setting up your page: Make the address a memorable one!  Your name is the default address, but you may wish to change to “John’s jog”; “Angus-John jumps”.  Remember this is the address that you will be sending to all your friends and family to encourage them to donate.
